Decision about the investments planned in advance, helped us to receive ordered turcks&trailers on time. According to company policy regarding truck-fleet development based on reputable brands, we have chosen the market leaders – SCANIA and KRONE.
In SCANIA Poland we have purchased six 6×2 tractor units R480 and four 4×2 tractor units R440. All trucks are equipped with the latest generation EURO 5 engine with no need to use AD-BLUE liquid. The tractor units were specially adjusted to hard winter conditions in the Northern Europe. All trucks were additionally equipped with on-board computers with TX-Connect fleet communication system.
Our new SCANIA trucks headed off last weekend to Werlte in Germany, KRONE corporation headquarters to join with Profi Liner trailers in complete transport units. The trailers were additionally equipped with essential for us ferry rigs, Holes to assemble steel stanchions in the floor of the trailer and lifted roofs allowing for increased loading possibilities.
Trailers official handover done by KRONE General Director Gero Schulze, were received by SCANDINAVIAN EXPRESS Chairman Ewa Duks-Szymanska. After a short ceremony our new trucks&trailers took nearby loads and set off to the customers in Scandinavia.
