1st of June
2010 Scandinavian Express started a new transportation project:
deliveries of steel oversized elements of Minnesund Bridge from Czech
Republic to construction site of highway E6 Oslo- Trondheim, Norway. The
bridge will be widened to two lanes in each direction.
5 meter wide steel plates are delivered on special transport racks created
by the Scandinavian Express technologists. This solution allows to
reduce the transportation width to 3,7 meter, simultaneously we obtained
faster and more cost-efficient delivery without a necessity to
de-construct of road infrastructure during the transport.
Total contract delivery range is 1400t steel elements. The investments is planned to be finished in September 2010.
