On November 29th this year, our company provided transport for two oversized elements in Szczecin Shipyard – they were steel structures which, when deposited on the sea floor, will be used for drilling oil fields operated by Statoil.
Both components weighed approximately 90 tons and, after loading, the overall dimensions of the set were 35m in length, 9m in width and 11m in height, with a total weight of 150 tons. The transport took place from the production hall to the shipyard waterfront where the elements were loaded onto a ship and taken to Norway. After reaching their destination, they will be assembled and the installation of equipment will follow.
