28th of December 2010 at the resort in Kashubia company training was held for the SCANDINAVIAN EXPRESS and associates Drivers. The training objectives was to improve the drivers qualifications and working standards and to provide information about the company’s plans for next year.
The main presented issues were: rules of cargo protection on the trailer, handling the TX-Connect on-board computer, rules of cooperation with shipping department and warehouse. One of the main points of the meeting was the SCANDINAVIAN EXPRESS Drivers Manual presentation – a comprehensive compendium of practical knowledge regarding the drivers working standards and responsibilities.
Traditionally, we held our annual SCANDINAVIAN EXPRESS Driver of the Year – best driver contest. In 2010 the winner was Mr Jan Kowalski – congratulations! Our best driver – as a award – driver will go together with a friend-person for a luxury cruise boat trip along the Mediterranean ports.
After the official part of the training we had some fun with sleigh ride and delicious roast boar during the evening dinner.
